We have a special arrangement with Garage Westerpark (address Van Bleiswijkstraat 8) so you can park during the event until 30 minutes after for only 10,- euro (normal price 2,- p. 35min.). This special exit-ticket can only be bought at the ticketmachines in the garage. We strongly advise you to buy it directly after parking your car, so you don't have to stand in line after you leave the event in the morning. Please follow the instructions in the ticket machine carefully.
The Gashouder is a place of extremes: it's the home of Awakenings.
The Gashouder is the most distinctive venue in Amsterdam. With its circular, pillarless interior and wrought-iron roof construction. No one who attends an event here will ever forget it.
It was built in 1902 – at the time it was the largest in Europe. The gas was stored above the Gashouder in a steel tank that extended telescopically to a height of 40m. |
