In just a few days Time Warp will have its first edition in Amsterdam. Thousands of visitors from various countries will join the Time Warp experience, making this truly an international happening. To make sure the event runs as smoothly as possible it is important the Time Warp visitors are informed about certain subjects on the 4th of December. The venue is wonderful and really ‘rave' minded, however we kindly ask you to take the following into account:

Entry
A sold out venue on a cold winter night means there is an urgent need for lockers to store your jackets. Inside the building there is no place to put them away, so we have located them outside in a tent. As the capacity is limited everybody is advised to share their locker, which should be sufficient for at least two winter coats. There will be no storage for large weekend bags. Please leave those at your car, bus or hotel and bring only along your most vital possessions.

Kindly be advised that everyone should come early to avoid long waiting times in the line outside. From 20.00 hrs on Darko Esser will play his best records, followed by no less than Matthias Tanzmann and Daniel Sanchez. On top the first 500 visitors of Time Warp receive a CD plus DVD from the past years, compiled by mastermind DJ Hell.

Zero tolerance policy
One of the reasons longer waiting times are expected is the zero tolerance policy on drugs, enforced by the Dutch police. Time Warp will have a strict control on possession of illegal substances, meaning every visitor will be searched at the entrance. When caught the visitor will be banned from the party without refund or even arrested by the police who charges very large fines. There will be strong control inside the building as well. Please think about the consequences, Holland is NO safe haven for the usage of all kinds of drugs!

Routing in the venue
When looking at the map it is obvious that the small corridors have their charm but also may cause problems. Luckily all areas have a superb line-up, making to switch between them less attractive but there is a chance people may have to wait in the corridors when it is crowded. To make sure everybody can walk as smoothly as possible through the corridors it is not allowed, under any circumstances, to sit or stop in the corridors. Time Warp kindly asks the visitors to take this into account and have understanding for any inconvenience caused by the infrastructure.

Map
Please take a look at the map of Time Warp. Everything you need to find is there. We have three large areas. The largest area is area 1, next to it area 2 and area 3 is somewhat remotely located opposed to area 1. Area 4 to conclude is smaller and to be found on the first floor next to the chill out.

Coins
There will be various selling points for coins at Time Warp. All selling stations for the coins are clearly marked on the map by the € sign. Visitors who enter the party are advised to buy them at the selling points in area 1 as this will be probably the fastest way.

Free toilets
One of the complaints about the Maassilo was the policy of the venue to make the people pay for the toilets. This will not be the case at the Sporthallen-Zuid. Also the venue assured they will keep them as clean as possible. Time Warp has brought in extra toilet facilities in the smoking-area outside. The toilets are indicated on the map.

Smoking area
Smoking on the dance floor is strictly forbidden. The security will check if visitors follow the non-smoking policy. Those of you determined to neglect the policy run the risk to be removed from the party! We are providing a dedicated smoking area for everyone who would like to have a cigarette. A smoking room has been created along the side between area 1 and area 3. The smoking room is equipped with a tent and heating.

First aid
Off course we hope no one will have to make use of it but Time Warp will have a fully professional first aid post. This is located in the corridor between area 1 and area 2 and is clearly marked with a red cross on the map.

Traffic
The Sporthallen-Zuid venue lies next to the highway A10 close to exit s108 (Amsterdam Zuid/WTC) and is easily accessible by car and public transport. Because of the weather it is advised to come by public transport as there can be traffic jams caused by snow and ice. Parking space is available at the Stadionplein and parking garage below the Olympic Stadium. In case these are full, an alternative parking is arranged nearby. Just follow the guidelines and signing from the traffic support crew.

In the morning a taxi pick-up is arranged near the venue at the Fred Roeskestraat. Just ask the traffic support crew for a direction.

Expect lovely warm-up tunes brought to you by a selection of the finest artists of the agency such as Rauwkost (LIVE), Joey Daniel, Olivier Weiter, Arjuna Schiks (LIVE), Unders, Gideon Bouwens, Johanna Mercker and Pete Bandit & Jason Shae.

Tickets are available at the door and by presale through the ticket section on www.wearee.nl.

Afterhours
Time Warp is known for its reputation when it comes to extending the party. In cooperation with two clubs who have the best sound system of Amsterdam and a solid underground techno minded partner with firm roots in the local scene, a great after hour program is arranged for those who have no interest in returning home after the main event. These afterhours are only meant for the Time Warp visitors and due to the limited capacity tickets are available in the advance ticket sales for 5 euro (AIR & Studio 80) and 16 euro (Static meets Time Warp).

This is the official program:

07.00 h - 16.00 h: AIR meets Time Warp:
Five meter below the ground at the Amstelstraat there is AIR. This brand new and large yet intimate venue has an impressive VOID sound system and is wonderfully designed. There is no sound limit so the sound system can be experienced the way it is supposed to be. Within short time a lot of important artists have used it and after Time Warp some new ones will join their ranks. These are the names to play the after hour in AIR:
Loco Dice, Speedy J., Steve Rachmad, Darko Esser, Joey Daniel en Unders.

Tickets are 5 euro in presale (limited capacity!) and available through: www.x-tix.com

More info of the venue and direction: www.air.nl

09.00 - LATE: Studio 80 meets Time Warp:
Within a few years the ‘lovechild' of techno pioneer Gert van Veen has developed to probably the most solid and famous techno club in Amsterdam. Always up for experimental line-ups a lot of artists of new generations have had their debut at the small but always vivid venue. No wonder almost all artists who played Studio 80 like to return to this cosy club at the Rembrandtplein. One of them is Karotte whose afterhours at Studio 80 have reached legendary status. After Time Warp he sings up for yet another marathon-set accompanied by his friends! Line-up: Karotte, Daniel Sanchez, Jason Shae & Pete Bandit, Johanna Mercker.

Tickets are 5 euro in presale (limited capacity!) and available through: www.x-tix.com

16.00 - 04.00: Static meets Time Warp (Westerunie):

The undisputed crown on a great Time Warp weekend will be organized by no less than the guys from Static. They will transform the Westerunie venue to a comfortable hangout for each and everyone in these cold winter days. In order to make this a success they have invited the true after hour champions from Romania. Exclusive and unique ARPIAR teams up once more and everybody who witnessed Raresh, Rhadoo and Perdo play before knows they can go on and on without a single bad records put to use. Two years ago ARPIAR already proved they handle a long set, now they get 8 hours (!!!) at the booth to please everybody who does not want the weekend to end.

With the infamous Bart Skils warming up for them and a closing time of no less than 04.00 o clock on Monday morning no doubt this is the after hour for the real after hour champions!

Tickets are 16 euro (limited capacity) and available through: www.ticketscript.com.

Attention! Static is also accessible to non-Time Warp guests so there will be no privilege to buy your ticket. Be sure to get you ticket in advance if you don't want to miss out on this opportunity.
